A young man from a financially struggling family leaves behind a bereaved father and a summer romance to pursue higher education at Burgmeister & Royce. Initially struggling with the demands of college life, he is eventually convinced to join the burgeoning Delta Iota Kappa fraternity, which introduces him to a world of chaos, stimulants, debauchery, and sex.
